Privacy notice

This notice explains which personal data we process when you visit the website, contact us, book a call or join the newsletter, why we use those data and how to exercise your rights.
1. Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is Manifest Digital Srl, registered office at Via Castellana 86/C, 30030 Martellago (VE), Italy, VAT and tax ID 04897380277. For any question about your personal data, write to hello@manifestdigital.it.
This website presents the activities of Mariachiara Zanin, a shareholder and the company's legal representative. Mariachiara Zanin and Manifest Digital share one newsletter, managed by the same controller. Full company details are available in the legal notice.
2. Browsing and website security
Squarespace provides the website infrastructure. Browsing involves processing technical data such as your IP address, the date and time, requested page, browser and device information needed to deliver pages, prevent abuse and diagnose errors.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in security and the proper operation of the service under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. This interest does not authorise non-essential cookies or tracking without any consent required by law. Information about cookies and external services is provided in our Cookie Policy.
Technical data retention depends on their purpose: managing the session and delivering the service, resolving errors or investigating an incident. Information needed to address abuse may be retained for the time required to investigate it and protect the rights concerned.
3. When you contact us
The contact form collects your first name, last name, email address, enquiry topic, context and objectives, together with your acknowledgement of this notice. We use these details to respond and assess the collaboration you are asking about. Please do not include sensitive information or other people's data unless needed for your enquiry.
Submissions are stored in Squarespace and notified to our mailbox, hello@manifestdigital.it, managed through Google Workspace. The legal basis is taking the pre-contractual steps you request under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. For correspondence unrelated to a potential contract, the processing needed to respond is based on our legitimate interest in managing correspondence under Article 6(1)(f).
If no relationship begins, we retain the enquiry and related correspondence for 12 months after the last substantive exchange, except where legal obligations or the protection of a right require specific information to be kept. If a relationship begins, the necessary data become part of managing that relationship and its applicable retention obligations. The contact form does not subscribe you to the newsletter.
4. When you book a call
The introductory-call button opens Calendly on an external page, where you can select an available appointment. The calendar is not embedded in this website.
To book, you must provide your name, email address and service of interest, choosing between social media strategy («Strategia Social»), social media analysis («Analisi Social Media») and not sure yet («Non lo so ancora»). You may optionally provide your Instagram profile and say how long you have been running your business. We also process the appointment date and time and your time zone. The appointment is added to the connected calendar; video-call details are provided in the confirmation. Booking, confirmations and necessary meeting communications do not subscribe you to the newsletter.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR: arranging the meeting you requested. Data are retained to arrange and hold the appointment and manage its follow-up. Retention is determined by the conclusion of the enquiry, including any rescheduling and agreed responses. Further retention concerns only data needed for an ongoing relationship, a legal obligation or the protection of a right. This criterion also applies to copies in the calendar and email.

5. When you join the newsletter
The newsletter is in Italian and includes articles, insights and updates about digital strategy, communication, artificial intelligence and Manifest Digital activities or offers. Signing up is optional. The newsletter is managed through Kajabi, without requiring you to create an account.
We collect your first name, last name, email address, sign-up source, consent date and status, email confirmation and any unsubscribe request. After submitting the form, you receive an email with a link to confirm your subscription. Website and social sign-ups join the same newsletter; source information allows us to distinguish which channel the request came from.
The legal basis for sending the newsletter is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw it at any time through the unsubscribe link in the emails or by writing to hello@manifestdigital.it. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing.
Emails sent through Kajabi may contain tracking pixels and tracked links that record opens and clicks and associate them with a recipient, together with technical data such as date, time and device information. They are used to measure interactions with the content. This processing is distinct from technical delivery, bounce and sending-security data. Non-essential individual measurements require informed consent. For information about these measurements and requests concerning consent or the other rights described in section 9, write to hello@manifestdigital.it.
Data used for sending are retained while you remain subscribed or until you withdraw consent. After you unsubscribe, only information needed to respect your choice and document consent or withdrawal is retained, without reusing it for new promotional messages. Any information required for legal obligations or disputes is retained only for those purposes.
6. Form protection
The contact form uses Google reCAPTCHA to reduce spam, fraud and automated submissions. The service processes technical and risk signals from the browser, device and interaction with the form, and may use security cookies. Its purpose is to protect the service, based on the legitimate interest described in section 2. See our Cookie Policy for information about its operation and cookies.
7. Who can access the data
Data can be accessed by authorised people at Manifest Digital Srl within the scope of their work and by providers needed for the services: Squarespace for the website and forms, Kajabi for the newsletter, Calendly for bookings, Google Workspace for email and calendars and Google reCAPTCHA for anti-spam protection. Where applicable, providers act as data processors; their own-purpose processing is described in their respective privacy notices.
Data may also be disclosed to professional advisers or authorities when necessary to comply with legal obligations or protect rights. We do not publish enquiry or subscriber data.
8. Processing outside the European Economic Area
Some providers use infrastructure in the United States or other countries outside the European Economic Area. Safeguards described in their agreements include adequacy decisions for covered transfers, the Data Privacy Framework where applicable and Standard Contractual Clauses, together with the measures applicable to each service.

9. Your choices and rights
Fields marked as required are necessary for the requested function. Without those details, we may be unable to respond, arrange a meeting or complete a subscription. Joining the newsletter is always separate from an enquiry or a booking.
Where the GDPR provides for them, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability of your data, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent. Write to hello@manifestdigital.it. If identity verification is needed, we will request only proportionate information.
You also have the right to complain to the Italian Data Protection Authority or the competent supervisory authority. Changes to this notice will be published here with an updated date.
